Or, maybe, your kids are a bit older now and off to school. Now, you find your days filled with less manual labor but more mental effort as they start to have relationships on their own. You worry…. Are they making friends? Being respectful to their teacher? Learning what they need to?
And then there are the tween and teen years. Research shows that these years are when mamas are the least happy and most stressed. Let’s just summarize by saying they might make you wish you could go back to those apple chopping days.
Now, I want you to know a couple of things...
First, I see you. I REALLY do. I know all the behind the scenes work that mothers are responsible for in families. All the work that is invisible to everyone else. I know it’s exhausting and difficult and overwhelming.

Second, this responsibility, as enormous as it is, can be the source of a different story. A story in which stress, worry, and overwhelm aren’t the main characters. A story where you crawl out from under the weight of that responsibility and use it as fuel to rise up as an empowered leader for your family.
